Historical Draft Issue

There has been an issue for awhile now that when you finish your first year and enter the draft there is a handful of players that have already previously been drafted and should still have NHL rights. Usually there is maybe 5 to 10 guys only really an issue if it's a big name like Pavel Bure.

Bought the game started in 1998 to play as Atlanta in 1999 hit the draft and I went through and counted 149 players that were either drafted in 1997 or 1998 and should have NHL rights I made it through the five stars down to the one stars and stopped.

That is an absolute deal breaker for me and I would be terrified to try another year as I would be shocked if it were any different.

While I am here I might as well ask if there will ever be a way to set up draft classes in Historical mode as I would love to have the actual real draft classes instead of it just being based off of age.

It looks like there are guys with some years missing in the data, I can hunt those down fairly easily in the editor and get a fix in for the first update. But not 100+ of them in that timeframe - are a lot of the guys you counted players who never played in the NHL? It sounds like the game may be including some players who have partial data in the database, but aren't supposed to be added to games until they get fully fleshed-out.

Edit: OK, I was able to go through all the draft years back to 1963 and find all the players who were missing their team assignment in their draft year (and in some cases, a few years after that.) You should see a dramatic improvement in the first update.
