Questions from a ootp buyer and old FHM
Hi, I have a couples of questions if someone can answer them it will help me decide if I can buy the new FHM 8.
I was a early adopter of FHM 1, I got number 4 and number 6 also but I found that there was a couple of settings missing to appreciate it like OOTP. In FHM6 I cant find settings for Scouting accuracy..is there a way in 8 to put it 100% accurate? Is there a way to change 1 to 20 ratings for 1 to 100? A lot of players look the same with 1-20. Is there a talent randomness settings? For example in historical games, historical player can go from 1 star potential to a 4 star potential player? Is there world junior championship in historical mode? Thanks! |

There's no way to make scouting 100% accurate, but if you turn commissioner mode on, the player edit screens will show you the actual, unadjusted-for-scouting rating for the player.
No way to change the ratings scaling to 100 right now. It's been on the list of things we'd like to do for a while, but there hasn't been much demand for it. There's no option to randomize talent, but it's possible (but difficult) for players to exceed their potential, many of the ratings that affect development can be changed by in-game events like injuries,.trades, playoff success/failures, etc., and there's a rare attribute that can result in a player's potential changing significantly over the years. No WJC in historical yet, but I do want to add it. Regular world championships will come first, though. |
