Preset Injuries Fix
It looks like the game isn't processing some pre-set injuries correctly. It's likely due to a late changewe made to the way that file handles special characters, but the exact problem is still uncertain.
However, switching the players to their alternate ID's seems to fix it, so attached is a version of the presets file that does that for every player in it. Just copy this file into your \Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 8\quickstart_games\OpeningDay.quick folder, overwriting the presets.txt file that's there. Once that's done, any new games you start will have all the pre-set injuries and suspensions that they're supposed to have. (This will also be included in the first game update.) Does one need to start a brand new game for this take effect?
Does it work the same for the Steam versions? |
