I just preordered my copy

Excited to play the next evolution of the game. Each version is getting better and better! The reveal video shows how the game is growing with upgrading current features and making existing features better.

Totally agree with you and I'll definitely be getting this I'd still like to
know the price. Is $39 expected?

I'm not pre-ordering, since I play on Linux and need Proton, but I've added to my wishlist and am excited to purchase as soon as its available on Steam!

(Though hopefully as the game grows there is a native Linux version someday!)

Joined the forum to +1 this. I think it's helpful for developers to know there's more of us amongst the weeds than may first appear. That being said, I am more than happy to keep using Proton as long as new FHMs continue to be compatible.

Also wanted to add that I'm really excited about some of the changes. Particularly the in-play choices and improved feedback on how players are coping in their roles. As a 100% custom gamer, I find getting to know your fictional players can be a real challenge. These changes will really help to understand what they are capable of, their strengths and weaknesses, etc.

Was an amazing game for it's time.

OMG. My friend and I played the crap out of that game daily. Played nothing else at the time. That game ruled. From Bethesda softworks. With CH Industries joysticks. Rated to one million clicks on the buttons. I mean hours and hours we would play that game. The real old version. No color. B & W. I would love for that game to come back. It was so addicting. Real fun, too.

Bethesda did a great job with that game. I would love to see it come back. FHM8 may be a great game but I cannot imagine it's fun with the current graphics. I need to see exiting hockey type plays and and it does not seem possible with the current game.
