Game could not be activated

Not sure what is going on here, but when I started OOTP today I got taken to the purchase or license screen. I didn't reinstall the app, so I'm a little confused. But of course I can't unlicense the game, and trying to add my license results in a "Game Could Not be Activated" error.

I've put in a support ticket, and eager to get back to the game.

I have the same problem on all my versions. Just happened.

Same thing just happened to me. Installed latest patch on Mac and now it asks me for license key and says it can't be activated.

Tried to play FHM5-7 and OOTP19-22 and everyone doesn't let me access the game it wants you to activate with license code. I see other users having same problem is this a MAC issue or a general server problem?
Any ideas when it may be resolved. I was in the middle of the MLB playoffs and the start of the NHL season on FHM

Turn off internet. Start game. Turn your internet back on and you should be good to go.

Problem with that is all the other apps that I'm in fudge out too. The workaround worked, but then had to restart InDesign, Photoshop, Firefox, Safari, Vivaldi plus other stuff. No good stuff.

There was an issue with the licensing servers. The company that runs them has sorted this out now, so it should be possible to access the game normally today. If you still have any trouble, please do let us know.

I'm having this problem now, I'm using PC also.. it keeps saying activation failed
