Easy Way to Play the Playoffs?

I'd like to play through a simulation of the playoffs but am having trouble setting it up without creating a human manager for each of the Playoff teams. Is there something I'm missing?

Please excuse me for not be clearer! I'd like to set up the playoff bracket and play each of the games in the bracket. Similar to how you can easily set up and play each game of an exhibition tournament with historical teams but with the current playoff teams.

Deselect simulate world in background. Go into commish mode then play out whatever games you want vs the AI.

In addition to what RichW said... I like to control one team in the playoffs and then semi-control the other team. So with "my" team, after I click "Manage Game" to go into game-play mode, under [Team Name] Controls I select Human Control for Substitutions and any other strategy settings I want to control. For the other team, I generally leave it to Computer AI until maybe the 5th inning or so, at which point I change that team's settings to Human Control. From that point I'm then making the decisions for both teams.

It's actually pretty simple and works fine. I'd only recommend that you test it out first before you actually try it with a game where you have already invested setup time. Good luck!

Thanks, guys! I knew there had to be something simple like that I was missing so I figured I'd ask rather the communal wisdom rather than keep trying to figure it out on my own in the dark.
