Contract Extension "Ask for Response" Error

Hi,

Our league is having a problem with our file where if we offer a contract extension to a player, if we hit the "Ask for Response" button, the game just submits the offer without getting a message back from the player. Further, if we check the "Pending Offers" section, the contract offer does not appear.

Things we know and have attempted.

- We've tried on the latest version 22.9.76, plus the previous version with the same results.
- I have tried two previous backups and we do not experience this problem, everything works as it should.
- Any backup that I have moved forward to our current date produces the same error.

I have uploaded our latest file to your OOTP FTP server (called Skyline-Baseball-League-20210928). I included a short video of me reproducing the error in that zip file as well.

I am looking for some sort of help. We have a full day off tomorrow as we are in the middle of expanding the league and we are on the draft date. I am not sure what to do or how to fix this.

If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE - This bug appears to be triggered if we have the expansion draft on today's date. If I move the draft date forward a day, the Ask For Response button works as it should. If I move the draft date back to todays date, the bug re-appears.

I am leaving this hear as this should be tested on another file to see if this is isolated to our file, or if this is a legit bug in the codebase.

On expansion draft day, there's some steps of negotiation that we can't process, so there are some challenges. We can look to improve the messaging around that, but I would suggest waiting until after the expansion draft is complete to resume negotiations.

Hi Matt. Thanks for the reply. If the game can't handle contract extension negotiations on expansion draft day, then the option to select it should be greyed out.

I spent about 4 hours yesterday troubleshooting our file, thinking our game had been corrupted.
