What happened to the auction house?

Sunday evening I had plenty of options for Negro Leagues cards - yesterday and today it's totally different. It's like someone went out as hoarded anything and everything.

Over the 3 versions of PT that I've played, it's become maddening that the AH doesn't function well 24/7.

and the prices have been insane. Its like if a card is part of any type of mission, someone prices it for an insane amount of perfect points lol, Oh, this card is part of a card pack mission for a silver pack? Price the card for 10k!

I'm just mad that for 4 weeks, i had no $$ to afford Sherm Lollar but he was always on the Auctions boards. Sometimes 2 of them between $36,000 - $42,000. Now that I have had enough, the last 4 days, i can't find him. I need him to complete 2 White sox sets.

There are a ton of cards that I've been needing for missions that just haven't been out there.

Octopus capitalism...grab with 7 arms, and use the eighth to brush off accusations that you're not manipulating prices and creating artificial shortages. The bad news: there's no cure and you can't prevent it.

Laughed rather hard when my auto-correct changed capitalism to cannibalism as I composed. Still works, doesn't it?

So by capitalism do you mean: completely fair for and available to everyone at anytime with no restrictions or favoritism?

Maybe if you complain enough, someone will step in take control of it under the guise of stopping the corporations and whales and creating equality for everyone,
and then instead of cards being: $45,000 they will be: N/A-Out of Stock

But guess who will still have/get all the cards? Not you or me.

Octopus capitalism was ex plained pretty clearly. I didn't call for any changes. Quite the opposite. I'm experienced enough in life to understand that when things of value are at stake, someone, somewhere, will find a way to bend the rules to their favor and will most often get away with it.

Now, before this thread gets any more political, let's all have a hot pocket and adjust our hoodies, ok?
