Issues with Historical League
I am trying to replay the 1974 season.
Problem is, once the season starts, the historical transactions never take place. OOTP 22 also does not have authentic minor league teams and players the way 21 did. And it omits some players who did time in the majors in 1974. Please help. |

The obvious questions: Did you enable historical transactions? Did you enable historical minor leagues? I just set up a 1974 MLB league with real lineups and transactions, and historical minor leagues. Everything looks fine after simming the season. (NOTE: The developer does not recommend using historical minor leagues when real lineups and transactions are enabled. It can be done, but some users complain about the results.)

First and foremost: Thank you for your time and effort.
As an OOTP fan, I truly appreciate this. Your suggestion worked for pure simulation (without the minor leagues) One more question: Could I do a historical league with two or three fictional players...or players from the past/future, e.g. Placing Stan Musial, Ken Boyer, and/or Albert Pujols with the '74 Cardinals. What might that setup look like? Again, thank you for your help and wisdom. |

Sure, you can add them to your league. I believe the manual describes how to add them. You probably wouldn't want to enable real lineups, though.
