I'm getting anxious

since the regular season starts on Oct 12 I believe.. any news on when FHM 8 is comming out? I can't wait... love ootp development games.. it's like.. shut up and take my money.. hehe.. thanks

They said in a recent post there will be some news soon, so I wouldn't worry.

It'll be interesting to see what direction they take with improving the game. The more I played FHM7, the more I felt it was undercooked. Perhaps understandable given impact Covid likely had on development of course, but it felt like a slight add-on to FHM6 rather than a shift forward. The headline feature was the 2D engine but again, the more I looked at it, the less impressed I became with it and on reflection I actually think it's quite poorly executed in all honesty.

FHM is potentially an exceptional game and I really hope this year's version takes some steps forward rather than just a bit of polish and I will continue to support it. However, if there is still no improvements in certain things, I think I'll leave it a couple of years before purchasing the next one. Just my 2 cents...

To each their own, but I really have enjoyed FHM7 the more I have played it. Of course, I only have experience with 6 and 7. I'm just trying to communicate I am looking forward to 8 haha.

No need to be anxious, it's coming, we're in the midst of beta testing and things are going well. Likely still a few weeks before we do a formal announcement, though.
