Modern MLB League has openings... Join a growing and interactive league
We started on OOTP 21 with the 2020 season and now just finished the 2021 Regular Season in OOTP 22. After the playoffs, we will sim everyday in the offseason. We have a winter league for prospects to further develop their craft. In the regular season, we sim Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings. We have a point system in place that rewards GM activity. Our turnover is GMs that no longer have time to keep track of their teams. We are looking for GMs that will be active.
WEBSITE: https://www.statsplus.net/vmlb OPEN TEAMS: Boston Red Sox: Playoff capable team that just needs an active GM. Former GM runs a very interactive league and just didn't have time to put into this team. Colorado Rockies: Just missed out on a Wild Card spot. Still has Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado. Could try to win or has pieces to jump start a rebuild. Houston Astros: Will have the fourth pick in Next Season's draft. Former GM was not very active. Still has Correa, Bregman, and Yordan. Kansas City Royals: The finished with a .500 record. Were in the thick of the race well into September. Has a young roster with veterans sprinkled into it. Miami Marlins: Definitely a rebuild. Lowest budget in the league, definitely needs an experienced GM for a challenge. However, just missed out on a wild card spot by a few games. San Diego Padres: Will play in the wild card game. Tatis Jr is not locked up yet. Washington Nationals: Will have the First Overall Pick in Next Season's draft. Juan Soto is locked up for another 9 seasons. They have a lot of young pieces like Jo Adell, Zac Gallen, and Daulton Varsho. Contract Rules: -There is no restrictions on MAJOR LEAGUE extensions - NO MINOR LEAGUE EXTENSIONS ARE ALLOWED (once a player is in the minors for six years and is not on the 40-man Roster, he will become a free agent, you have the right to offer a contract to that player once he hits free agency) - Rule V draft will consist of one round, there will be an age restriction however, the Rule V is short due the fact that minor league extensions are prohibited. |
