Historical pack

Will the historical pack roll from year to year? So if I play 1948 or 1949, I’ll have Mays, Mantle , etc in the following year's 1st year player draft.
2nd question- is there any way to clear historical data?

1 - Mays will appear on the Giants in 1951, the year he made his MLB debut. Same with Mantle with the Yankees. But remember, there are no historical transactions. So, Babe Ruth, for example, will debut with the Red Sox and remain there unless the AI trades him (or you, if you manage the Red Sox).

2 - Not that I know of.
