Upgrading from OOTP18 to 22....

I have a large league in OOTP18 with about 6,000 players meticulously edited. I want to be sure that when I play this league in OOTP22 the ratings will be exactly the same for all players.

Given that the ratings system is identical(contact, power, gap, eye, stuff, control, movement, etc) I'm guessing there won't be a problem, though I notice some new attributes, such as arm slot for pitchers, have been incorporated into the game.

To be clear, can I expect the ratings for players in my league, even for things like GB% and R/L splits, to remain identical after upgrading to 22?

I don't believe so. You will need to import 18 into 19 and then into 20 and 21 and finally into 22. All those imports are quite possibly going to change something. I don't think the overall balance of the league will change but a point or two on some ratings is inevitable.

That's a shame.

Imported my league yesterday, batter's ratings were the same but stuff and movement ratings for pitchers changed considerably.

Movement was never below 25 (on a 1-100 scale) for even the worst pitchers in my old game, now some pitchers have a rating below 5.

Lots more editing to do...

It is possible that changes in the game engine over 4 versions may make those new ratings "correct" in context with the stats they will produce.

Yes, those sound like huge changes in movement and stuff but, maybe run a few tests before doing a lot of editing?
