Career/season leaderboards no longer taking qualifying stats into account

At some point between last week and this week, some of the season leaderboards appear to no longer take into account how many PA it takes to qualify for the statistic. I included a picture with the batting leaderboards, but I also noticed it for season winning percentage and season BB/9 in the pitching section.

I have had something similar happen to me. Just this week as I have finished the 1922 season, some hitters from 1870s are showing up as single season leaders. There is no way they have enough plat appearances! This has never been a problem until OOTP 22 and then just beginning in August 2021.

The leaderboards were updated to actually check how many games the team (or league) played that season to count. So, for example, if teams played a roughly 80 game season in 1880, then a pitcher could "qualify" with 80 IP that year.

Thanks Matt. That is pretty cool and makes a lot of sense. I will have to take that into account as I update my permanent records.

Gotcha.

Just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly: the guys who had 159 PAs or so in 1871 would now qualify even though the cutoff is now 391 PAs, since they qualified in 1871.
