Player Aging / Randomness
Will the same players in PT have different hidden player ratings? I’m the traditional OOTP I believe a player will have a somewhat random aging progression so that Babe Ruth in one game may have a different progress in another game. If I own Babe Ruth in PT and another team owns Babe, will one Babe have a consistent worse season on average due to some hidden attribute? In other words can I have a “bad” version of Babe Ruth and someone else have a “great” version of Babe Ruth assuming both start out rated at 100?

Nope, there's none of that in PT. No aging, no random talent change, no morale. All versions of the same card are the same. They can, of course, produce wildly different stat lines, especially if you are looking at small samples of data. But that's to be expected due to the heavy degree of random variation that exists in baseball.

It really shows how much noise there is in statistical results even at a full season level.
