Ratings Question
When you're looking at a pitchers rating screen, it has their pitches at the bottom of the screen with a number next to it and also a number next to the potential. Is that number for control or movement?
Thanks! |

Well Stuff has its own category above with movement and control under "Pitching", but at the bottom of the page under "Pitches" there's a number next to each pitch also.

The Stuff rating is a combination of the stuff for each individual pitch. The number next to each individual pitch is the Stuff rating for each one. It's useful to determine if a pitcher should be a SP or a RP, among other things. If your pitcher has 2 strong pitches and a really crappy 3rd one, he probably should be in the pen, despite technically having more than 2 pitches.
