Templates vs Quick starts examples

Can you share some of the ways you use templates and quickstarts and how you decide to use one over the other?

To me they both seem the same, but there must be some subtle differences(??)

I mostly just use templates when creating games. Loading a template still brings you into the create game screen so you can edit things after a test sim for example. Loading a QuickStart creates an actually save file and puts you into the game. You can still edit things here but to me it’s easier to do before the file gets create, which is why I use templates.

A Template is something I made.

A QuickStart is something somebody else made.

If I give you my Template, it will be your QuickStart.
