Tournaments and Default Rosters

So of course when I enter a tournament in Perfect Team I get a message that i don’t have a default roster for the type. My question, how and where do you set up such rosters to make the process easier?

When you enter a certain tournament once there is a default roster setup.

Once you have a set roster for a particular tournament, Under roster management you can save you go to Roster import/export-export roster to file. This allows you to save rosters and import the roster in the future.

This can be a real annoyance up to bronze. From silver, you'll usually find you have time to do it between entering the tourney and it starting, even if it needs some tweaking afterwards. Just join early.

One moderately useful tip is that you can still export rosters after you have been eliminated from a tournament. While you can't change the active roster at this point, you can move stuff from inactive to reserve and I found that a useful way to at least gather the cards I wanted so next time you can import it, and the active roster can be set in the time you get.

One feature I would REALLY like to see on the Manage Cards screen is the ability to add custom, manual card sheets/lists so you can set up and play around with tourney rosters before time. The ability to import those directly into tourneys would be even better.

The other thing you can do is join a daily tournament that won't start for several hours. This gives you plenty of time to set up your roster, buy new cards, and plan everything before saving it.
