Don't think i understand Missions!!
I guess i am missing something about Missions. It seems to me it costs more to get the cards needed than to just buy reward card outright.Same with most pack rewards.Unless you get a bunch in packs!

Yep...in many cases it makes sense to just buy the reward card. The part I don't understand is why so many managers are happy to sell those for pennies on the dollar. Like some missions cost >100k and the reward <20k.
I guess some people might still think completing the missions will be required to get to the next level, despite all information to the contrary. Then you have your people who complete missions just for the sake of completion as well. I'm guessing it's some combination of those 2 groups responsible for the price disparities. |

For new ftp managers like myself, I think it helps by giving some cards you can use now that could make you some PP rather than just save up for it, but if you just have tons of pp and can just buy it, yes, it doesn't make sense.
Why do many people finance houses and cars when you pay more in the long run?

I’m a bit of a completionist so I prefer to finish the missions. I try to wait until I have pulled at least a few of the cards for any given mission before buying the rest. For some of the missions in the FH sequence there are pack rewards which soften the cost.

I'm the same as Dr. Zaius. I am trying to complete all the missions even if I'd be better off picking and choosing. It's something to strive for. It feels good completing missions and chaining them together.

If you already have a significant number of cards towards the mission it can change the calculus.

I mean, if no one does the missions, there are no rewards cards to sell in the 1st place. Someone has to do them. Most people wait till they get a few components in packs to mitigate the cost, I would imagine. Unless you're mega whaling it up.

Many players, particularly the active FTP ones, DO get a bunch in packs, mainly because they play a lot of tourneys and win a lot of packs. Open hundreds, if not thousands, of the things and as Madmarcus says the cards acquired can change the math considerably.
