How do you "Perfect Team?"

I took a slightly different approach over the past few months.

Check my teams throughout the week.

Sunday morning, I see if any made the playoffs. Change the rotation, change the lineup a little.

Sunday evening, I buy packs based on how many points I have. Upgrade if possible with buys and previous earned packs. Check to see if I completed any missions. Sell all duplicates. Carry over newly acquired packs after last two actions.

Repeat the following week.

I may not be in any Gold, Diamond or Perfect Leagues, but I am happy with what I am doing.

You?

Most of my time and energy is spent on refining my tournament team to maximize my packs. I made a really good team last month which averaged over twenty packs per day for me. I haven’t yet found the sweet spot since the last live update but the team is doing OK right now. I’ve been working the missions and have built a main team that competes well at the Diamond level. I’ve only fallen to Gold once since reaching Diamond and have been ranging between 78-90 wins over the past several weeks. My next goal is to win my division in Diamond.

One change that I made this year was to focus on one team. I’d love to have three running but things like a job and life make that a bit difficult.

Morning: Regret that I don't wake up to any packs from overnight tournaments, enter 3 more.

Afternoon: See that those tournaments ended in the usual failure. Enter three more.

Evening: See Afternoon.

Before Bed: Make very bad decisions on my throwaway teams while under the influence of alcohol, usually involving packs and the sight of live trash.

the cycle repeats until morale improves, but I'll be damned if I ever figure out when that is

Likewise. Winning packs in tourneys is the best way for FTP players to progress, although it can be time consuming. I've gained a bucketload of experience this year on the best way to manage collection missions and card acquisition, albeit usually too late

Doesn't matter. If you are enjoying the game doing what you are doing then just keep doing it!
