Keystone didn't even show up for the last two weeks of the season as we dropped 13 in a row to finish up a lousy season.

Pack opening luck has been really-really bad.

The percentage of Live cards appears to be double the amount I use to get get which means far less OL cards.

Tournament pack reward cards are suffering heavy, too!

On a possessive side, this year in PT22 I was able to survive 3 weeks straight in Gold before getting regulated. In PT21 it was only 1 week!

Hope I can figure out something for my return to Gold as my pitching was horrible, both home and on the road.

Easier to fix the Home problem than the Away problem!

It seems the game engine had an issue and the playoffs havent started. I assume it is because Coney Island made the playoffs and threw the system into overload trying to figure out what went wrong.

I've been mostly afk lately, so moving Texarkana and Cedar Rapids to inactive status and dropping the - OL designation for now so they don't mess up any league composition.

It really isn't necessary, unless it's something you really want to do. Many of our players are pretty "hands off," myself included. Since my enjoyment stems from OL and posting graphics, I make changes to my teams on Saturday (if eliminated) or Sunday (after elimination). I open packs on Saturday morning, since I do enter the Mundays into tourneys every few hours during the week. With the other two teams, I just buy packs with any PP and open those. I sell off my dupes and check my collections. Then I make a change if I've pulled anything good, set my rotation and line-ups, and I'm good to go for another week. As a matter of fact, with my two other teams, I went several weeks between opening pack more than once, just setting the rotation on Sunday night and checking my friends list.

Actually, unless it really feels uncomfortable for you to do it, an autopilot team helps OL, giving it a bigger footprint. That said, do what is best for you, but we'd love to have you hang in there. Thank you for being a good OL member.

Coney Island folded like a cheap tent and lost their series in five games and will remain in silver. Still need to figure out the log jam in the outfield. Moving Winfield to play only vs. Lefties helped but need an upgrade over Cruz in LF.

Sugar Hill once again held their own in bronze this week. It has been four weeks since I sold off assets and turned it into an gold team and have run a record of 338-310 over the period.

We have five teams still playing, all in their respective conference finals. New York and Cleveland are matched up in Bronze, so at least one OL team will make it to the Series. Asylum is also in the conference finals in bronze, so an all OL Series is possible. Shoebox is alive in stone, and Cary is alive in gold. Good luck to all.

The team levels are set for 2039, so here goes:

Iron - Lumberton, Route 66, Iron Maiden, San Francisco, Sunday, Las Vegas, Daytona Beach, Otsego Lake, West Burlington, Gettysburg, Shoebox

We should have enough teams in iron through gold, as long as we are diligent in checking our friends list, selecting use friends list, and submitting. Make an extra check for those who got missed last week.

I think I'll try to get Seattle up to Iron this week. The Shiners are on hold after the disastrous TM2 missions (do I buy all that junk for Pedro, or wait until I can spare the points to buy him?), so I'll hunt down some speedy upgrades for the Stealheadz.

Looks like it's gonna be a party in Iron this week, and there doesn't seem much point in holding down the fort in Stone..

Things looked bleak for Cleveland in the PT B200 World Series after they dropped game five at home, and headed to Asylum and The Sanitarium, facing elimination where they had lost games 1 and 2.

They hammered the Keepers to even it up, but quickly fell behind by four runs in game 7. They battled back, helped by three unearned runs, to claim the OL PT World Series trophy.

Yes. The rule is a four team minimum with at least two playing ten games.

Someone asked a question the other day about the mission progression. I finally dug up a picture from the OOTP Discord showing where we are in the progression. They are soon going to announce the Franchise Heroes 2 cards. The missions will be completed by locking each team's rewards for

Franchise Hero #1
Future Legend
Historical All-Star
Team Mission #2

If you're getting there by the mission route, to get FH#1 you needed to lock:

Live Reward
Team Mission #1
Perfect BAL

Don't forget - you don't have to complete the missions for these cards, you can purchase the reward cards directly off the AH and don't have to complete any missions. At this point in the game cycle I don't think you want to complete any Build-A-Legend cards that you don't want to use (and heck it might be cheaper to purchase them depending on what cards you have or don't have).

My advice for anyone looking at this and thinking "I will never have the PP to complete these" is to pick a few teams that you like, or who you think will have good FH#2 cards, and focus on getting the top 4 rewards. That's what I am doing.

The Warriors have added Joe Kelley as its new left fielder sending Jose Cruz to the reserve roster. Cruz has been with the team since 2023, picking up his 2,000 hit last season. He will remain with the club in some capacity.

Coney Island and Knockemstiff will be locking horns again this week in the NC West. A rivalry could be brewing between these two clubs. The Shiners did a number on the Warriors last week and the Warriors will be looking for revenge against what looks like a strong Knockemstiff team.
