Manage Cards screen unresponsive
Last edit: I have found a solution as described below. The solution is to not put the "PTDup" clause first in the filter.
I've encountered a bug while trying to manage my Perfect Team team. I logged in and selected Manage Cards. I modified the current filter and chose "PTDup is true" as the only choice. I then clicked on the L10 column to sort by descending L10. That all worked fine. However, once all that was complete, the screen is unresponsive - none of the on-screen elements or card listings respond to mouseclicks. The game appears to be doing something on a loop - the timer in the upper right only updates every 7 seconds or so. The heading above the cards swaps back and forth between the default OOTP header and "Manage Cards" periodically. Clicking on the filter does nothing, so I can't change it. I sat there for a few minutes and this behavior did not change. By repeatedly clicking on the close box I can exit (I've also force quit the app a few times). I thought maybe this was due to me having a lot of cards (the filter returned 351 pages) so I reset my cache but that had no effect. As a result of all this I can't manage my cards. Please advise. Thanks. FYI, this is with my Annandale team as shown in the sig below. Update to add: I was able to get around this by logging onto my other team and modifying the filter to return very few cards (like 50). I then logged back to Annandale and the screen was responsive. I changed the filter to "PTDup is true and PTCardType is not MLB2021" which returned 116 pages of results (so a much smaller result set than the initial query). The game became unresponsive again as described above. Reset the search again by logging into Washington and choosing a filter of "PTDup is true, PTCardType is not MLB2021, Name is Smith". This yields 15 cards on Annandale. The filter screen was unresponsive for a minute or two but is now working as intended. More udpates: After doing some experimentation, it appears that the clause order in the filter is quite important. Putting PTDup as the first clause causes this behavior. I tried a filter which was "PTCardType is not MLB 2021, PTL10Value > 5000, PTDup is yes" - this filter returned 12 players and worked immediately. However, if I set up the filter as "PTDup is yes, PTL10Value > 5000, PTCardType is not MLB2021" I see the strange behavior above for a few cycles. Last edited by Charlatan; 08-01-2021 at 01:25 PM. |
