Players dropped from rosters after trade

Encountering a longstanding issue in an online league:

The game regularly releases players after a trade, forcing me to re-assign them in the Editor tab, including updating their contract info.

Is this a known bug? How can I ensure that traded players don't get released from their teams randomly?

It sounds like you must have AI control turned on (or at least not turned off) for some teams. So if you check the team setting and possibly even tick the button to lock the rosters, that should prevent the AI from making any moves for teams it isn't supposed to be controlling.

Thanks Lukas. That's probably this issue.

Incidentally, when i click on "Set All Teams to Not Allow Roster Changes" in the League Settings, it does not tick the "Prevent any AI roster changes" box in all the team settings. It this a bug?
