21 Drafted players into db
wondering when players lower down the draft list get added to the OOTP database.
exciting days as 2 players I coached in high school got drafted yesterday to join the 3 already in mlb systems I always tend to sign\trade for these guys to my OOTP saves because I enjoy having them even if they are only borderline MLB talents. Also just a related thought - always amazing to me - every single guy that MLB fans think "suck" were the absolutely best of the best from their high school - so incredibly hard to make it to the pro level

The vast majority of drafted guys should be in the game already. For the few that are missing, they should (with possibly a handful of exceptions) be in the game by the next patch. Who are you wondering about specifically?

Gavin Tonkel 9/265 to Phillies - elite speed, def and arm - hitting at MLB level will have to be a work in progress
https://www.mlb.com/player/gavin-tonkel-702247 Chris Troye 12/346 to Red Sox - big strong dedicated kid that was a cleanup hitter with big time power who turned into a hard throwing pitcher in college https://www.mlb.com/player/christoph...nors&year=2021 this kid Gio Diaz also is the league but wasn't drafted http://www.thebaseballcube.com/playe....asp?ID=212825 join our other two already in game players - Kevin Milam and Paul Blackburn. Excited to see what Milam can do - dominated since freshman at high school and was all American as college freshman. has not developed as much since then and actually went about 10 rounds lower after college then he would have straight out of high school obviously no big deal if they make it in, I am just a proud coach happy for some of my guys getting a shot

Just to add to the list (I mentioned one name in another thread) in case this helps in anyway.
Tristan Peters Bradford Webb Travis Adams Evan Justice These guys were day 1 I believe. I know players like Ky Bush and Peyton Wilson I just had to move their draft year up one. |

![]() Troye is already in the db, but since he's rated as a RP type the game doesn't really pull him into the draft class given the limits we put on how many players the game includes in each class (to keep from overly bloating saves with too many UDFA's). We'll have some changes next patch to get more of those type guys pulled in. Tonkel I just added to the db yesterday along with a couple other drafted guys who were totally missing. I'll rerate him a bit after seeing your assessment of him though ![]() Gio Diaz should show up in-game already.

![]() Some are cases where guys are rated already but because of the RP thing I mentioned above, not getting pulled in (Justice), in the db but not yet activated and rated (Peters, who I just rated and activated yesterday along with anyone else who needed to be from rounds 1-10) and a couple are not even in our db at all, like Webb. Just added him too. Given we have something like 30k amateur players in our db (most of which do not show up in-game atm), it's astonishing that MLB teams still can find guys to draft we don't have included, but they do! ![]() Anyway, most everyone taken in the draft will be added and show up in-game in the next patch. The only possible exception might be a few of the RP type guys, since that depends a bit on how our tweaks to the importer go as to whether all of them get pulled into the active game or not.
