Pitcher strategy

So I am wondering, and have some questions.

I am in a private league and I really wanna try and keep my pitching injuries down, so I wanna play with pitchers only facing 18 batters in a game BUT, I also want to limit their fatigue. So, under pitching strategy can I set the pitcher to pitch a max of 18 batters faced and also set to pull him if he hits 55% stam before the 18 batters?

I built my bullpen to be pretty strong to backup the play and have my BP pitching to a max of 6 batters or 60% stam

So My question is, does doing this work how I am thinking it would? Will a pitcher be pulled at 55% stam even though he does not reach 18 batters?

The 18 batters is a limit. It should have no bearing on whatever other conditions would cause a pitcher to get pulled before that limit.

My question is though, if a pitcher hits 55% before hitting 18 batters, will he be pulled. I would like the pitcher to be pulled if either, they reach 18 batters or hit 55% stamina. I want to know if you set it that way if they will be pulled that way because a pitcher could hit 55% depending on pitches thrown, before actually hitting 18 batters.

If other conditions are met (stamina settings, pitch count, getting hammered, injury, etc) that would make the manager pull him before he's faced 18 batters, then he gets pulled before that.
