Help Me Rename My IBL World Series

i need ideas for a new name for my Illinois Baseball League World Series, which is currently called the Lincoln-Douglas Series. This is both for my planet/nation of Illinois and for another league in which the IBL will appear soon in a regular Earth league.

For years my dad didn’t rename the default names that came with a small fictional league. The championship series in his Illinois Baseball League was the HIGHLY COVETED “Round 2” haha. “Springfield wins the Round 2!!! Springfield wins the Round 2!!!”

The Mike Donlin Show.
He was one of the most interesting player to come out of Illinois. He was one of the best players during the dead ball era but in his prime he stopped playing baseball for 3 years to join his wife in show business. He was a playboy, impeccable dresser, and drank to much. The SABR internet site has a long article about him.

@The Game, just out of curiosity, can you elaborate on what you mean by planet/nation of Illinois? I’ve wanted to do some regional leagues but had a hard time with the backstory in making the league exclusive to and fully contained in the region. It helped thinking of the rest of the country having regional leagues, but it didn’t answer questions of players literally moving and having international FAs. So I guess in a nutshell, what’s your story with that?

in my EBL vs MLB league Illinois is a planet just like i have Coruscant, Tatooine, Alderaan & Vulcan. they have their own nation flag. Since there is only basically Earth in game, the planets are their own nation.

In my USBL league, which is still in the planning stage i am creating 48-56 states as their own league. Eventually each Canadian province will be their own league or 2 and the Caribbean. I would suggest turning INT FA off.
Each year i add new cities to this nation.
