Was working fine, but now crashes at start of playing out a game
I have an IPad Air (12.5.4) model # MD789LL/A and installed the game a few days ago. I started out with a 1961 historical league and played 2 seasons. I was able to play out games or fast sim with no problems. Yesterday I set up a fictional league and when I try to play out a game, it crashes on “ start game” . I can sim games but not play them out as the manager. I went back into my historical league and now that is doing the same thing. I was wondering if the new patch has anything to do with this?
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help. Really liked the app when I was able to play out the games! |

GO requires a minimum of 2 GB of RAM. I think your iPad may only have 1 GB.

The newest patch almost certainly wouldn't have created this new crash. It's more likely that some state in your game is now leading to whatever is causing the crash and wasn't before. Or your device doesn't have enough RAM, but before you had everything else closed down in the background so it wasn't hitting the out of memory limit.
First can I ask that you double check if you have more than 1GB of RAM? If you do, can I ask you to enable debug mode (in the Settings menu), and then reproduce the crash, then send me 2 things. 1) The trace (located in the Files app on your home screen) 2) The crash log, which you can find here -Open Settings app. -Tap Privacy. -Tap Analytics & Improvements. -Tap Analytics Data. -Scroll down to items that start with "OOTP" -Grab the one with the date and time that the crash occurred Last edited by Will Beh; 06-24-2021 at 02:53 PM. |

Thanks for responding. I apologize for my ignorance (a 72 year old without much computer savvy), but I have been trying to find out how much RAM I have, but can’t see it listed anywhere. It is fairly old (like me Lol), so I probably do not have enough RAM. I did put the model # in the 1st post, just in case someone might know. But, thank you again for your response and help.
