Locking up

App locking up when trying to load pt or tourney results. Hangs at loading player cards every time. Its unplayable at this point

Thought might be storage space but made room and restarted. I turned on logging but not sure where to find the log on my phone. Samsung galaxy s9

This is still happening after the most recent update. The game has been unplayable for me for over a week. Just stuck on loading player card data, this was after waiting 5 minutes for it to 'delete old folders'.

Hi Ballyhoo, if you have trace turned on it should store a file to the Files area on your android device.

Okay thanks. It does not appear to be saving a trace log. I click on Perfect Team and then it just hands on getting player card data, does not appear to store a log of any type in my files folder.

Thanks to TJ over in discord I did find the logs. I'm attaching two files. It doesn't appear to be getting stuck.on the damemplayer card but I have many trave logs, at least 20 and they are all from stick on player card loading and they are all between 125 and 135 kb which seems odd since they don't all stop at the same player.

Please advise.

Hey thanks for reporting and going through the steps We've just been quite busy recently, so I really do appreciate you getting the trace for us, it's a big help. I'll definitely take a look at it soon, but this type of issue tends to be tricky, since it's likely something to do with your device in particular. So a couple follow up questions first.
What android version are you running?
I believe you device has 4GB of RAM, but can I just ask you to confirm?
Lastly, can you try leaving it for like a really long time? Sometimes things can get stuck and if you quit too early it'll keep being an issue. I'm sorry that it's quite inconvenient, but if you have an opportunity, can you leave it off to the side for like 15min or even longer and see if anything progresses?

I waited 15 but no dice. It stuck on loading 400 records both this time and the time I loaded earlier today. It was exactly 400 each time

We will have an update which should help in some timeout cases, although I believe it will have a larger impact on those with large collections. If your game is timing out on 400 entries, you may have a separate issue.

Hi it gets stuck on 1000 records after the last update vs 400 from before. Does that give you any ideas on what the issue might be?

Ok one thing to try. Plug your phone into your computer, and in File Explorer, navigate to
Phone\Android\data\com.com2us.ootpbbgo.android.goo gle.global.normal\files\AppData\data\config
and delete the user.dat file.
Now, make sure to close OOTP Go! (like remove it from the background completely) so it starts up again when you open it.
Now try again

Tried this. Gets stuck at 1000 records rather than 400. So something the last change presumably made a difference? Maybe the change from 400 to 1000 gives some indicator?

Unfortunately this is likely just due to some minor changes we made with how the numbers were tracked. I'll keep looking into this, it may be related to another PT issue I've been looking into recently. Sorry it's not working out for you at the moment
