76 Replay- OOTP gets all 4 division winners right!
Always impressive when you're doing a replay (mostly autoplay except for a handful of games I managed) and a game gets it this right. Granted, the Reds broke an MLB record with 122 wins but still. Yanks, Royals, Phillies, Reds head to the playoffs!

Mindblanking - thanks for sharing! That Reds Team was amazing. Baseball in the '70's, for some reason I always loved that time.
I always forget 1976 was the Reggie in Baltimore year. An interesting replay would be Don Baylor staying in Baltimore. But with the introduction of Free Agency, or should I say Re-Entry Draft (?), 1977 ushered in a whole new world for every team, didn't it? So...who won the World Series in your League? |

Yanks swept the Royals in the ALCS. In the NLCS, the Phillies shocked the world taking game 1 in Cincy and racking up 20 hits and 13 runs. Game 2 went to the Reds. Heading to Philly, the home team won game 3. Then, in game 4, the Phillies took an early 3-0 lead before Concepcion tied it up with a 3 run homer in 6th. Game tied, bottom of the ninth, two outs bases loaded, Dick Allen smacks a base hit to center driving in the winning run. Phils take the series 3-1! I've only played the first two games of the WS with the Phillies taking both at home to go up 2-0. We'll see... |
