Play Perfect Team without OOTP desktop purchase?

Can someone without PT22 and just OOTPGO play Perfect team?

I have... I used my old PT'20 account just fine.

Waiting on sale for OOTP 22, so still in limbo there.

You don’t need OOTP 22 to play perfect team 22 with OOTP Go. I have OOTP 21 on my pc and was able to start a team in OOTP Go just fine.

Of course. The whole purpose of OOTPG is to bring the game to an audience (and their money) not playing it on PC for whatever reason. For those who are it's just a convenience for those with tablets as well as PCs, and considering the duration of my tablet charge over that of my laptop it is pretty convenient, TBH.

I just feel sorry for those new players who will be spending even vaguely sensible amounts of hard-earned money on PPs believing that will somehow allow them to make meaningful progress in the game. We all know how far from reality that is at this point. Just wait until next season, folks... seriously, just wait. Buy all the - very reasonably priced - historical seasons for the 'proper' game to keep you busy until then.

I only started playing PT 21 on my pc laptop a few weeks ago and it’s fun. Since I’ve gotten Go I’ve started playing tournaments for the first time and the ease and convenience doing it on my iPad is fantastic !
