Hi i try to find the USSR team in the summit 1972 but i cant find many of them. Do you have the exact name because if i copy and paste in the import historical players they cant find them.

Here are the list i cant find:

Alexander Sidelnikov
Yevgeny Paladiev
Yevgeni Mishakov
Yuri Shatalov
Vyacheslav Starshinov
Viktor Kuzkin
Alexander Bodunov
Gennadiy Tsygankov

Although I am not sure what's happening, I do know at least some of these guys are in the database. I did not copy and paste, but instead went to the search bar and typed in their last name.

When i try to import player i need the right name because i can search the player with only his last name... i need his real first name and maybe some of thes because they are russian is not the same first name as its written in the hockeydb or hockey reference.

They're all in the database, but the player import won't work for most of the players who don't have any NHL history. Getting them to appear in a regular game requires a special workaround for historical player creation that can't easily be applied to the way single-player imports work.

Ok i found a way.

I find the player in the Historical mode create a data sheets and create the player in my league... i just cant import it.
