Can you win a league and not get promoted?

Like if you win a bad division with a sub .500 record but then get hot in the playoffs?

I’m pretty sure that you automatically get promoted if you win the league championship.

I

If you win your division and then win your first round playoff series, you will be promoted. However, if you lose the first round playoff series, you won't be promoted--no matter how good you are.

There was a notorious cheat who constantly won 130+ games each season, but swapped out his best players so he would lose the first round playoff series and stay in Bronze.

That depends on how many teams are promoted. Promotions are based on playoff standings first, so if there are 6 teams that get promoted, it would be the 4 LCS teams plus the 2 best first round losers. If it's 8 teams moving up, then it's everyone but the 2 wildcard losers. Etc...

That makes it pretty clear I think. Thanks.
