Old coaches never die...ever.

Hello. I'm a n00b, relatively speaking. I started playing last November to fend off encroaching terminal boredom. I love this awesome game, but I am not a real stats kinda guy. I like day-to-day managing, and I'm not all that great at it, but I have fun anyway. I have many questions and comments, but I will confine this to one issue. Evidently coaches never die. I started a league in 1871. I am now in 1910, and there are coaches--dozens of them--in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, retired, but just getting older and older.. Seriously? This seems like a bug to me. At some point, the AI ought to automatically disappear these guys.
