I also made a couple of quirky ones myself... I don't think they are good enough to make the cut... they look kind of weak compared to the above in the previous post.
I might try to get some of the good designers to take a crack at it. Would be great if txranger or the other talented folks would take a shot at these.... would need Primary Logo, Secondary Logo, Home and Away Jerseys and Caps. Last edited by Eugene Church; 05-07-2021 at 05:38 PM. |

It would be fun to do a GoT league, but to be honest I’m already heavily invested in my IPA and NHL, so adding one more dynasty would be overwhelming. I plan on continuing my current dynasties for a while and as long as I’m enjoying both I’ll stick with them. With the NHL I’ll cut back on the playoffs. 16 is too many as I like to watch all the games, and the 1st round takes forever to get through. I’ll cut it to 10 teams starting with next season and have a 1-game playoff between the #5 and #4 seeds. |

That's why I plan to get finish with the IPA as soon as I can to reach 100 seasons and then retire it... to do that, I will have to greatly speed up each season and give it very limited coverage. I stop doing the North Island and South Island because three leagues are too much to cover in a dynasty forum report. My ultimate and final league will be the small North Island League that I am now collecting the best team graphics sets I can find on the Mods Forum. I would never ever be able to get these team sets created via personal requests here on the Mods Forum. |

Next season I'll be adding the New Yerby Mets to my IPA. I will also need 7 more fictional teams to balance out the other divisions, and names that fit the IPA world. That will make it 80 teams, 10 per division, and I'm not going to go past that.

Good luck finding 7 new towns for the IPA. Really liked CD's Glasco Celtics... the logo by txranger is superb and CD did a fine job on the jerseys. CD can do very good jerseys IF you give him detailed instructions and colors... otherwise you will get the New Yerby Mets and the New York Mets with the gosh-awful stripes and poor color choices... or MLB teams where he combines 3 or 4 teams colors. He is a fine guy and will do it your way if you ask him to... feel free to ask for revisions... CD really wants to please people. I hope I don't appear to be too hard-to-deal with and overly picky with him when he asks me to critique his work... I always try to tell him the truth in a nice way. |

I suggest doing what I'm going to do with my non-public versions of the IPA and my public versions of the Eudageron Baseball Federation, and that is to put no more than 24 teams in a single level of the required promotion-relegation framework for the above, and put an equal number of teams in each level of said framework. I'm going to have a minimum of 96 teams in a minimum of four levels to said framework, either in the public or non-public versions of it, divided into two subleagues per level with two six-team divisions in each.
You say you will be doing eighty teams, jg2977, in your permission-granted IPA. Then why not split up those teams into 20 teams per level if you want four levels, or 16 teams per level if you want five? Just a thought here. I don't know how soon I'll have all the needed graphics collected or made for my EBF/IPA, but hopefully soon I will. In any case, it will start in 1901, and any dated logos should ideally feature that date on them, if possible. I look forwards to seeing what you come up with for your permission-granted IPA, of course. It's an interesting take on things, even though it's not yet made it as far as EC's IPA has, in terms of number of seasons and all. If you want more help from me with certain things, please let me know, and I'll see what I can do for you, as quickly and as best as I can. I could probably improve the New Yerby Mets-related items more, of course, than I already have. But it may take some more time for me to do so well enough, I think. They're not all that bad, in any version, it seems to me, but they could still perhaps be improved later on, somehow, if possible and all. That's all for now, then. CD out.

You are also more than welcome to look for any and all graphics I may have posted here in the forums, even ones perhaps posted in my various dynasty threads. Certainly there should be at least a few more items that you might not mind using in your current or future dynasties, if not a great number of them.
Sure, I may not do graphics that most would consider more traditional many times, but I definitely do some rather interesting ones, I think. If I remember correctly, the Fornagi Chroniclers was one of my most interesting uniform sets to do, for instance. I'm not sure at the moment if I've done at least one cap for them, but I do know I made at least two uniforms for them, in any case. Will write more later, I'm sure, either here or in other threads, Lord willing and all. CD out.

As will I, of course, if you happen to choose any of my teams that don't yet have logos made for them as well, for sure. But if they make them for you, then certainly I could find a use for them too, no doubt. Hope you enjoy looking over my many graphics to date, in any case, by the way, jg2977. There's quite a few of them that are rather colorful, most definitely. CD out.

A name like River City makes sense in the IPA. It goes with Forest City, Grand City, White River, etc. |

I found another interesting logo/uni set and team name in txranger's thread last night - The Colortown Pelicans. That's different. The Glasco rebrand to the Celtics in my IPA worked like a charm. They just upset the defending champion Claxton Diamonds to win their first pennant. The previously lowly Chicopee Braves also made the IPA Pro Cup for their first time, so this will be a fun Final series. Whoever wins will hoist their first trophy. It's nice to get some new blood in the championship series. Last edited by jg2977; 05-12-2021 at 09:41 AM. |

Yep, txranger is one of the absolute best... but the Retro thread is 547 pages and growing... I'm sure I would have found a bunch of his and knuckler's great work in it to fill up several dynasty leagues.
I like the name Colortown Pelicans, too... I will see if I can find it on a search of the thread... could use it in my new dynasty league... I know it will be very well done. |

Colortown Pelicans by txranger did not show up when I did a forum search... only your post and my post showed up.

Look in txranger's Google Drive under requests, then parrots, and you'll be able to find what you are looking for in relation to the Colortown Parrots, most likely. I found them while trying to locate his past Arena Football League and XFL-related items, from about 2016 or so. Although he doesn't appear to have folders for them like he does for items under certain other categories. Or at least I haven't found them yet, anyway, it seems. That is all. CD out.
