Role Ratings - sometimes blank?

I've been wondering why sometimes a players Role Ratings are blank while other times they are filled in?


I'm looking at 2 different players both with a scouting rating of Ac - one has role ratings displayed, while the other doesn't so I guess it isn't related to that.


Should all players have their role ratings displayed? Not sure if there's something going on my game (standard game, currently in 31-2 but I've seen this for awhile)


Anyone able to share some light on this? Thanks

I think they need to be given a role before the role ratings will display, so if they're on a nonplayable team or are a free agent (and have never been on a playable team prior to that), there'll be no data there yet. I'll see if they can be forced to show the role ratings on-demand when the ratings tab is opened (it'd waste too much processing time to force a role assignment for every player on nonplayable teams, so that's not an option.)
