Classic 2D Field Widget too big

Suddenly, after new patch.

1280 x 960, 1280 x 720 and 1024 x 768 are all too wide.

I don't think that would have changed. We made adjustments so that at larger resolutions (>1600 wide), we give more space to the widgets. But I think at those levels, basically we don't really have space for widgets on both sides of the field, so it switches to just the widgets on the left part of the screen and the field taking up the right hand side.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the quick response. I probably did a poor job of explaining.

First screen is how it looked previous to the new patch. I had to back to a screenie from 21, but this is the setup I'vr been using for years.

Second is the best I can do today.

Identical settings for the field widgets are at 1280*960.

I'm not computer illiterate, but no expert either. I checked all my various systems settings and couldn't do any better.

Thanks again for your help.

Ah, yeah. So what's happened is your screen resolution is larger, so the new default is to add space to those other widgets. So you'll notice those other stats are not as crunched together. They will take up more space on the screen though now, so you may need to run with a smaller field (even in your previous version, it hung over the right hand edge, you can see that the home team name was being cut off). So if you don't want it as far off the screen, you probably want to manually select a smaller field size, or move it around the screen a bit more.

I've noticed this as well.

It does seem that by adding more width to the widgets, we now have much less room for those of us that like to customize the 2D screen.

This seems to be the case no matter the resolution you use after the recent changes.

Ok, thanks again. Guess I'll play around with other views. I still play 2D because I can the the most info on one screen.
