iNHL online league crash

Hi,

It has been a while since we had any issues but we are now getting repeated crashes again.

We are on Sep 16th, 2028 and the game crashes when trying to move forward. Sometimes we are able to sim ahead multiple days, but whenever the game exits "sim ahead mode", it crashes. We have tried on multiple computers, same result. The World Cup starts on Sep 17th, and I am fairly certain this crash has to do with generating that tournament, as we have had repeated crashes in the past when moving past the start of other national tournaments.

If the cause of this error could be found and addressed, I believe it should be smooth sailing from here as we haven't had any crashes in a long time other than those related to the national tournaments.

I have DM:d a link to the league file to Jeff. Thanks for the work you do guys and thanks in advance for having a look at this!

Found the problem, and we have a fixed save for you, I've shared it on dropbox (to your gmail address, let me know if you need it on a different one.)

Three teams (Rangers, Carolina and Nashville) had a particular lineup value set to 0, which shouldn't be possible. We'd like to know how that happened; could you send me the last set of team files you updated with? Might tell us what the source of the issue was.

Just wanted to thank Jeff and the team at FHM for helping to fix our league file. You guys are doing g a great job jeep up thr good work and thank you for getting us back on track so quickly.

Unfortunately we have run into another repeated crash in the iNHL. This time on March 25, 2029. We have tried/checked the following without success:

- sim ahead on three different machines
- manually sim each game on March 25
- there are no national tournaments starting on March 26 for which rosters need to be generated, so this does not seem to be the same issue that we have had earlier

I have DM'd a link to the savefile to Jeff. Would be great if you have time to have a look at it and hopefully fix the issue!

Yeah, crashing for me as well. Doesn't look like any of the most common crash causes, we're taking a look at it now.

Thanks, Jeff! Some further info; I have tried to reload our previous savefile that was sent out to the GMs earlier last week. I didn’t import any teamfiles this time, just moved ahead, and am still getting the same crash when moving over from March 25 to 26. So perhaps there is some specific event that occurs on this date that is causing the crash?

I just shared the fixed file, Malte didn't mention what the specific problem was, though (we're in the middle of a large FHM8 task at the moment.)
