Can't play due to display resolution

I first reported this on April 23 in the Tech Support forum, but no one has provided assistance.

I am unable to play the game because of the start screen resolution. The whole display is skewed to the right and cut off at the bottom so I can't get to the Settings Menu.

I have searched the file structure for a file that might control the game resolution but was unsuccessful. You would think that the developers would put this file in a folder called Display or something similar, but no such luck.

I am running the Steam version of the game on a Windows 10 Laptop.

Have you tried changing your screen (computer) resolution?

No, other Steam games including FHM 7 have the correct resolution with no issues. It is just OOTP 22 that is f'd up.

Just because FHM07 loads fine means nothing. They are two different games. What is your computers screen resolution? Are you on full screen or windowed? Are you on standard font with standard font size? More info over "other games work" will help us help you much better.

See if you can change the Windows scaling settings or your screen resolution enough to fix it.

I know older versions of the game had issues with Windows scaling settings

I figured out a work-around. I was able to select New Standard Game on the main screen, and created the new game. Once the new game finished loading I was able to get to the settings menu within the game. Then I selected Display Mode > Windowed, and Window Size > Maximized. Then I restarted the game and was back to a normal screen size and resolution.

My Windows 10 default settings are as follows:

Scale and Layout = 125% (Recommended)
Display Resolution = 1920 x 1080 (Recommended)

Once again, OOTP 22 is the only game that I have had issues with regarding in game resolution.

It's the 125%. That totally screws up my ootp. drop it down to 100 and I bet you will see a huge difference.

No need to do that. It works fine with the steps I already implemented.
