Player awards etc.

Can anyone post what's the criteria for different awards please.

For example like Selke trophy always seem to be won by a 4th line player that plays like average 10 minutes and at most puts up about 15/20 points a season.

Vezina trophy seems to favour predominantly save percentage, i could have my goalie as number one in wins and goals against and maybe like 8/9th in save percentage and he doesn't even get into top three nominations.

Also some trophies don't have a badge/symbol thing on a players screen, like Lady Byng, Mark Messier, Ted Lindsay awards.

Also what's the criteria for the player that retires to have his number retired by the team? Thanks

Vezina top 3 nominations most of the time is players with the best save percentage even if they are not in top 8 in either wins nor goals against.

I don't know the criteria for the Selke but one of my players (shockingly) won it.

He had 67 points, +10 and 1206 ToI.

He likely was on my first or second line and logged quite a bit of time each game including special teams.

I cant seem to recreate a Selke win, tried having like Bergeron or Kopitar in historical games in their primes i set the roles as backchecking forwards, two way or other defensive combinations, first line, powerplay and penalty kill minutes.

They can record a point per game season, have defensive rating in mid 70s and plus/minus 40 plus and still not even get nominated for the trophy!
