Two way player question - like to focus on one

I have a minor league pitcher that is also listed as a terrible first basemen. Is there a way to "turn off" or even edit the player so he is just a pitcher rather than a "two way guy"?

Yes. Right-click on the player and go to strategy. There's an option in there where you need to uncheck "use as two-way player".
