They are better than the top Sox jerseys. that sox cap is bad.

Been working on all the Houston Astros stuff for my project. Finished off the tenth jersey, thought I was done, when I looked at my open tabs on GIMP and realised I had another FIVE to go. I thought I was done. I already can't stand the Astros, this won't help.

So of course, what do I do? Create my own alternate jersey! This one was an accident, I was flipping from one variant (orange) to another (blue) when I saw that the script wordmark from the orange unis, when put on a blue shirt, had a very cool Atlanta Braves blue-on-blue vibe to it. (I've always thought the Braves blue-on-blue is an underrated look)

I played around a bit with the borders on the wordmark so nothing got washed out, changed the star to orange since a blue star with a white border was too Dallas Cowboys-esque, and voila! I'm going to post it here, not in my thread, since it wasn't one of SFG's actual designs, but more inspired by it. Hope you enjoy this bonus jersey. Now it's back to work for me!

I was wondering if anyone could take a shot at the stuff this guy has started doing. He’s only posted 2 concepts so far but they’re both great. The only problem is I don’t know if there’s enough stuff to extract to get the word marks. They’re kinda small.

Someone already started doing them in a new thread. And yea I love the first 2 concepts so far I hope he keeps pumping them out.

It's a great thread and worth bumping!

And I'm glad you think so because I did some Giants unis yesterday, combining his Giants logos with the fantasy SF Seals set he did. I liked the colors and some elements of the Giants things, but the overall look of the Seals stuff. With a couple of real/recolored images and the Crazy Crab just because, and a set with orange script because their early 70's unis looked good that way.

As luck would have it, I was thinking about trying a set with the city/county seal instead. I did a purple COL set with a cartoon Dinger on one sleeve. I might revisit the Crab with a cartoon instead and see if I can make a whole set. Yet another project to never finish!

Anyway...
