Best Way To Handle Feeder League Prestige?

Hello OOTP Fans -

I just finished setting up a NCAA Division II Feeder League. I don't want to populate yet with fictional players because I want to make sure I handle it correctly.

What is the best way to ensure that a higher percentage of top prospects comes from NCAA Division I? I want to make sure that the prestige level is higher than for my new NCAA Division II Feeder.

Any tips welcome. I'm still fairly new at this, so if this is an easy one, please excuse me.

I can't think of a good way to do this. The only idea I have is setting the Div II league as a feeder to an independent league. Then you can set the PCMs lower for that league. If you make the top league small, many will go as free agents, and you could even allow your major league to purchase players from the indy league. It might get you where you want to go.

As someone that has tinkered a bunch with feeder leagues, as far as I know there is no obvious way to do this. I am almost 100% certain the player potentials in a feeder league are decided by the PCMs of the parent league. Modifying the PCMs of a feeder league will only modify the starting current ratings of the players in the league.

The only thing that I could suggest you look into is the preset schools in the explore world section. Although I am not sure specifically how you can get the game to load these schools when you are creating a feeder league or even if you can do that. It is possible they are only designed to work for drafts without feeder leagues. I am not even sure how the competition level or frequency modifier influences things. They do have the better rated NCAA Div. I programs listed at the top so if they can be transferred into a real feeder league it should require little tinkering.

I wish I could be more helpful than that. The closest thing to this I have tried is making a 4 level promotion relegation league with the draft pools being the weakest at the lowest level league. However that simply involves just tinkering with the PCMs of the individual leagues.
