Adding minor league
I am not an expert in this game. I started my own fictional league and it's running for 14 years now. It consists of 16 teams devided in 2 subleagues. There aren't any minor leagues, just feeder leagues.
Now I want to add minor leagues (AAA, AA, A and R). What is the best way to do this? Thanks |

On the upper right hand corner of the League Settings page, there's a dropdown menu labeled "League Actions". One of those actions is "Add minor/feeder league".

Back up your game before you do this... just in case some things happen that you weren't expecting / don't want. That way you can go back and try again, tweaking things or whatever...

Thanks for your reactions.
One last question. Is it better to first add R and A and then after 2 seasons AA and then 2 seasons later again AAA, because of the amount of available players, or doesn't this matter and can I just add the 4 minor leagues in one time? |

I think the answer to this is "it depends" in a variety of ways. If you aren't too worried about the filler players that will be created, you can just add them all at once. This is when the game uses the player creation modifiers set for the minor league(s); for the draft and/or creation of free agent rookies it will use the PCMs for the major league. Others have more experience with feeders and have done research with the PCMs, so I defer to them. But in general, the filler guys created with the default rookie and single A PCMs aren't going to have much effect on your major league, and over time they'll just fade away as the drafted/created players fill in the ranks. For me, it's not worth the work to do anything but just push "fill rosters". But be careful which league you're working on when you do!

If you have a lot of minor league level free agents floating around, you might want to create the minors early in the off-season and delay creation of players to fill their rosters. That will give existing FA's who don't interest ML teams a chance to sign minor league contracts

Thank you all, I will fill the rosters just before springtraining starts and of course I will make a backup first
