I still have Mr. TEST TEST as Bench Coach in Personnel when searching for new coaches...

I don't know if it's an issue or a feature, but for one reason or another the teams division I'm managing in is always at the top. Normally the game arranges them East, Central, West from top to bottom. But if I take control of the Angels for instance it'll stick the AL West above the East and Central. Same for if I make my expansion Las Vegas team and stick them in the NL West it puts the NL West at the top. It's done this in 6 of the 6 different sims I've started, across all 3 versions and fixes if that matters. If this is a feature and not a cosmetic issue is there a way to turn it off?

Too Many Spaces!
I know this is minor in the grand scheme of things but for several versions now, there have been too many spaces between "Star" and "Player Files for FA."
In the example provided, you'll see "Star 2B Bent Ving" is improperly spaced. Know this is a niche ask but it would greatly alleviate my OCD ![]() Last edited by aks62; 12-28-2022 at 11:47 AM. |

names backwards
I notice that when playing a 2021 game that the team name on the jersey is backwards for left hand batters when they are at bat. I assume it is the same when they are in the field but I can't see the names then.

Skyed not skied
The english.xml has skied for a fly ball. It should be skyed as there are not a lot of parks in the alps.

I have never seen it spelled with a "y" in a baseball context. It's always "skied."

Also I found a typo, the period here is misplaced:

You are correct. However, the voice pronounces it as someone had been skiing, i.e. it says the ball was ski-ed to center. If it is changed to skyed it is pronounced correctly. Try it an see. |

Well, that might be corrected with an entry in the tts_pronunciation file. I'll add one.

The other thing to consider is that everyone who doesn't use TTS would probably freak out if they saw the word "skyed" in the pbp text.

I commented in a separate thread that the Rangers' R-affiliate is NOT the Surprise Royals. Wanted to put it here in case it belongs.

I think I may be hearing ski ed instead of sky ed because I am using a European voice. In any case, I changed it in the .xml file and the .lex file. I will see what it sound like after the next update. |

Pitch location chart error
I play out all games, primarily in historical tournaments featuring great teams from the past. A couple of things I have noticed in OOTP22.
-- The pitch location chart shows the ball opposite of actually where it often crosses the plate. Basically, let's say a pitcher throws three consecutive inside pitches in game play, when the chart shows up after each pitch, it shows the pitches as being outside. I have checked this in multiple games and teams, etc., and it/s a consistent error. Anyway, just wanted to point it out for hopefully a future correction since precise details are what makes this game so great IMHO. Good luck. |

I hope so, too. The problem has been reported numerous times.

Owner Goal - Find Top 20 Prospect
During the mid-season review of the owner goals the text says "keep the search for that top prospect that I asked of you"
...but we drafted Kumar Rocker 2nd overall and he is now the #6 prospect in MLB |
