What are Your Favorite Camera Options?

When playing out or auto-playing games, what are your favorite camera angles?

I really like CF Close for the pitch cam even though the transition out of is it a big hard.

  • Default,
  • wide,
  • HP,
  • CF,
  • CF Close,
  • LF Line,
  • RF Line,
  • B Stands,
  • 3B Stands

I use either default or wide (depending on the park) for the initial and action cameras. I used to use HP for the pitch cam, but have recently started using CF close.

I've suggested in another post, that it would be great to have the option for the human player to use the HP cam when batting and CF close when pitching (or some other configurable combination).

When I go to a minor league game in real life I like to sit about 10-15 seats up directly behind home plate. In OOTP I made my custom view from the same spot. I just use that camera angle the whole way through. I don't care for the jerky camera movements from one view to another.

I like Wide-CF Close-Wide for the 3 settings. It's so cool the dynamic camera uses others too

Pre pitch: wide
Pitch: HP
Action: my custom HP Action that is basically wide zoomed a bit but with the
full field still in view.

dynamic cam: on (with various cams disabled as part of the package)
follow ball: off (don't see the need with dynamic on)

Do dynamic cameras randomly use all available cameras, or do they follow a set sequence?

I started with the first base line view, then did a mix of zoom and tilt until I got close in without any fans in the way. Once you have that you can save it as a new camera view.

I don't think it's random, I believe it depends on the play.
