Fielder Labels

Is there a limit to how far you can move a fielder label? I'm trying to move my 3rd baseman's photo to be under where the 3rd baseman is on the 3D field, but it keeps snapping it back closer to the pitcher's mound. Is there something I can do to make it leave it where I put it? I've been able to move the other players and widgets where I want them to be, but this guy is being difficult.

I think there is a limit because I had the same problem last year with my 3rd baseman when I made a camera angle close to the fence behind the catcher. The 3rd baseman label would end up between the 3rd baseman and shortstop. I mentioned it in the bugs thread last year but...........

And it's weird because I can move the 1st baseman farther away from the pitcher than I can the 3rd baseman. I have a lot of room to the left of the 3rd baseman, as well. I have the visiting team lineup over there. I'd include a screenshot, but I'm not sure how to get one in OOTP. My regular tool doesn't seem to work.

You're on a mac, aren't you? If I remember correctly, if you hold the keyboard key for secondary click, and left click, it'll work

I'm using a PC, but maybe there's a key combination for that, too.

I'm playing on a PC. The batting lineups block the fielders ratings.

You can move the widgets and player labels around. It's just a fidgeting system. Sometimes you can drag it to where you want to put and it only moves a little bit from its former location. It's a very frustrating interface.

This images shows what I'm talking about. The 3rd baseman is as far left as the game will left me move it. No matter where I attempt to drag it further left it snaps the left edge to where it's shown in the image. I don't know what's causing this. As you can clearly see both the 1st baseman and outfielders are giving me more leeway in where I put them, including the left fielder, who is much farther to the left than the 3rd baseman. Is there anyone that knows what might be preventing that label from going further to the left?

I play 2D classic, so I can't speak for the view you're using, but the exact thing you describe happens when arranging the labels in 2D Classic as well. Always involves 3B, for me both the fielder and the runner.

Yes, that was the way it was in OOTP 21 also.

Then if it's something that's happened before I would think someone from the technical team could tell us why it's happening and if there's anything we can do about it. This is the 3rd year straight I've bought this yearly game. I think it will be the last. Maybe there's a lesson to be learned about buying something that releases every year: once you have one version you don't need another.

I've brought this issue up in the forums and bug report as well and honestly there hasn't been a good answer.

There are so many factors at play, screen size/resolution, other widgets etc that possibly affect it. What irks me is that there is anything coded to stop me from having my 3rd baseman under the catcher if I want.
