Why are the alternate skins so lazy?

It seems every year now the alternate skins get more and more lazy. As a historical player, its fun to use a throwback skin. But 22's are just lazy crap.

I get that it takes resources to skin everything and maybe they've redistributed those resources elsewhere, but its very disappointing

Yeah, the classic skin this year is honestly pitiful. It looks like zero effort was put into it. It's usually my go-to skin, but certainly not this year.

I just wish they'd put the alternate lines of shading back on the stats pages. It's murder looking at those walls of stats without shaded lines. It's rudimentary spreadsheet design and they do it for the primary dark skin. Pretty obvious they just don't care about the light or classic skins.

The dark skin strains my eyes in about 5 minutes. To me the coast skin is ok but I like the more modern look of the light skin. I would like to see some changes sometimes but I am afraid it might be changed to something I don't like.

Nope. I've always enjoy the light skin better. And I'm talking about the OOTP skins, to be clear...

The only reason I use the default dark is because of the crappy light skin.

I agree. Its not that the dark skin is bad, its just nice to have an option. I've always preferred the classic or throwback skins and lighter (but not white) backgrounds. I still use light mode on Twitter so maybe I'm just a weirdo lol

It may not be bad but I found it bad for my eyes. Very much a strain.
