Txranger, I really love that Sand Sox set. However, I only use Knuckler-style round logos in my league. Do you have time to make one of those round, mid-century style logos? It would be much appreciated.

I, TOTALLY AGREED, that's an awesome logo... especially, I live next to 'Burque... Definitely will uses it in my expansion league... Again, txranger, Fantastic creation once again!!!

I normally don't request for certain logo but am wondering, when you have the time, to recreate your version of Worcester Red Sox in the old retro look, as well as, in the new... Gracias, txranger!!

Hi TXRanger -

I'm not new to OOTP, but I have returned to the task of starting my own Fictional League. I have been a huge fan of your uni and logo designs for years.

My biggest sticking point whenever trying to create my own fictional league, is that I don't know how to make logos for my ideas. I'm decent at using the Jersey and Ballcap Creator Tools, but the logos! It has actually been something I have wanted to learn for a long time, not just for OOTP, but also for Fantasy Football leagues that I run.

Which brings me to my questions, for the great TXRanger!

1) What tool or tools do you use for your logo designs? I know that Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard for logos, but it is expensive.

2) How did you go about learning graphic design? Do you know of any free or inexpensive resources for learning from scratch how to create a logo/sports logo?

I'm willing to spend a few bucks on this for programs and lessons that are not free, but trying to keep it reasonable!

Photoshop and some Illustrator... Started with Paint Shop Pro and then to Photoshop Elements... Those two while good, just not as good as Photoshop, imo... I am more comfortable with Photoshop than Illustrator (because I have used it more) and for the resolution needed for this game and probably others, Photoshop is most capable...
Got some basics from Knuckler and learned by trial and error... Learning by doing works best for me... Google is your friend if you get stumped or have questions... There are some tutorials on Photoshop out there, try Googling it...
That's about it...
