Customized Major League Baseball
Heading into 1872 (with fictional rosters and rookies)
Sim 14 game days, twice daily at 6am & 6pm EST
$10 buy-in (7 day money back guarantee after you are configured into the game)
You choose the qualifying city and nickname (can be real or fictional team nickname)
1872 game year and player modifiers
26 active roster size, 45 limit AAA team
30 expanded roster size in September, no post-season roster rules
Rules favor owners, not players (no arbitration, no 10/5 rule)
Discord app used for communication
Soft salary cap of 125% of average payroll with a 50% tax above cap
No spring training (will start in 1905)
No all star game (yet)
AAA teams for all ML teams
AA in 1880
A in 1890
R in 1900
Scouting: Yes
Player Development: Yes
When your team is founded the fan loyalty will be the inverse of your market size on a scale of 1-10. For example, St. Louis in 1871 has a market size of 3, so they would start with a fan loyalty of 7. New York has a market size of 9, so would only start with a fan loyalty of 1.
Market sizes will change based on historical census data.

Starting in 1871 you can found a ballclub in any U.S. city over 100K in population during that decade which would be the following cities:

How many teams are available?
We are looking to expand the league by two teams after the 1871 and 1872 seasons.

Why does it cost $10?
I've ran online leagues before and I find that those who are willing to spend a small amount on a league are more likely to stay invested and not flake out early. It will also help with operational costs such as the statsplus hosting services.

What's the refund policy?
It's super simple. Once you have paid and the regular season has started, you will have a 7 day period to resign and request a refund. After that, no refunds. Including if you are removed for inactivity without communicating a leave of absence beforehand. Nothing strict, there is no required number of uploads per week, but if it becomes obvious, you're gone. This is to preserve a competitive and interactive experience for the rest of the league.

I don't like a rule, can I get it changed?
I'm an open-minded person and I'm willing to make changes, but if you see something in this description that you don't like? Ask yourself if you can live with it, do NOT count on getting it changed once you join. I have been playing this game for 8 years and all of the rules were put in place for a reason.

Since there's a fee, are there payouts?
No. The fees are used to pay for hosting and commissioner services, not prizes.

Heyo, I'm very interested, but I'm wondering if the sim year will be changed as the league goes on. I'm guessing yes from what is said on minor league teams, but I'm not sure.

Otherwise, a question I have from reading the league description is whether this will be a fictional or real player league?

I would like to take the New York Franchise, if at all possible.
