Questions about OOTP 22

Dear staff,

I have played OOTP since OOTP 17. One problem I have always had is the ratings of players would change randomly throughout the season and off season. I just want their ratings to change once per year. Is that a problem in the newest game?

Also, what do you mean about better manager system? Are managers more important when it comes to wins and losses? I started using the star ratings in OOTP 21 because of the changing, random ratings. If I can have it that the stars only change once per season, I will buy the game immediately.

I think this is related to the settings.

You may want to post your question in the OOTP 22 form folder to get a someone to respond. There is also a *new to the game* subfolder; the team may not pick-up this thread.

You can change how often you get a scouting report so you only "see" it once a year but the game engine is always processing and developing each player in the game.

One setting you may want to change is TCR from the default which is 100 to something around 50-75. At 200, which is max, you will see the greatest variation of player deployment and changes.

You can also adjust overall player development which at default is 1.0 so if you want faster you could go with 1.1 and for aging, if you want guys to play longer careers, you could change to 0.9.

There are so many settings that you can make the game exactly what you want and the new staff positions just add to the dynamic.
